Cashel Town FC caters for football in the town of Cashel and the surrounding areas of West Tipperary, from underage levels to adult, for boys and girls, and since August 2009 for both adult men and women’s teams.
It is committed to creating a family atmosphere amongst its players, supporters and sponsors, where participation is just as important as competitiveness to the club.
The club plays its home games at Palmerhill and the Community School field in Cashel.
The senior club has two mens teams, the A team who play in the Premier Division of the Tipperary Southern and District League (TS&DL) and the B team, who will be playing in the Second Division of the TS&DL, after winning promotion as champions of the Third Division last year (2009/2010)
It caters for a Youths team (u-18), who re-entered the Youth TS&DL last year after a number of years absence, and who hope to build on the good groundwork lain down last year, to create a more successful year ahead.
Since August of 2010, Cashel Town has now incorporates a Ladies team, who expect to enter the Tipperary Ladies Football League next year, when the new season begins.
The juvenile section of the club recently welcomed the addition of girls who wish to play football in Cashel and the surrounding areas. From the beginning of the season ahead, the Schoolboys and Schoolgirls club intend to enter Tipperary and National League and Cup competitions at u-10, u-11, u-12, u13, u-15 and u-16 age groups.
